Just in the last week or so, Gage has really started to enjoy hanging out in what is known to Alyshia's family as the "Command Center". Gage has one toy he REALLY likes and here's a video to show him in action.

Holiday Festivities

Fletcher acheived his amazing goal of obtaining his pilots license in October and today we finally were able to go flying together. Gage stayed home with Andrea and Dominic while we flew. It was a very cold, but clear day! Can't wait to go again...

Fun week

Gage, Fletcher and I went down to see the new sail boat in Sausalito. We didn't go anywhere but got to hang out....I think he liked it anyways. We also went and got our Christmas tree too.

Thanksgiving 2008-San Diego

Gage, Fletcher & I went on another plane ride(his 2nd in two weeks) to San Diego for Thanksgiving. Gage had his first Thanksgiving with Auntie Ish, Uncle Chris, Malia, Wyatt, Grandpa Jeff and Grandma Debbie Uncle Dylan, Zia Patricia, Julian, Anthony, Omi, & Poa ! We had a great time and now are trying to keep Gage as entertained as he was in San Diego. He also doesn't get much down time while in San Diego so we're getting caught up on rest as well as some Tummy Time!

Grant and Kristi come to visit....

Grant and Kristi came to meet Gage and hang out for the weekend. Gage loved the attention and showed them how well he can sleep.....allll dayyyyy long! Anyway, we had a lot of fun and Gage got to go on his first of many shopping trips with Kristi and I. They also helped us hand out candy to the trick-or-treaters in the neighborhood. It was a great weekend and Gage's misses them already!

Happy Halloween!

Gage dressed up as a little pumpkin for his first Halloween. We went to a friends house for a lunch time party and then he decided to sleep the rest of the day and night(well fight his sleep long enough to finally sleep). So needless to say we didn't get many pictures with him in costume...but enough to get the point!

Our family friend, Linda LaGrange, gave Gage this costume just a week after he was born! She then passed away a few weeks after...so in memory of Linda...here's Gage in his Pumpkin suit!

hello...

Gage is growing like a bean and starting to smile. He is really interesting in watching people as they talk and like to be outside looking around. Gage slept in his own room for the first time on Monday night and did well. He still likes to join us in bed around 6am but I think I need to outgrow that one too. :)

Gage is doing well. Sleeps pretty well at night and is a happy camper for the most part. He's starting to have some fussiness in the evening but we learned a new trick...he likes sleeping it off on his belly. He doesn't get to sleep on his belly at night but he sure enjoyed this nap....

2 Week Check-Up

So we took Gage to his Pediatrician Thursday for his 2 week check-up. At his 2 day appointment he weighed 7lbs 11ozs...well....he likes to eat. He weighed 9lbs 2 ozs yesterday and had grown an INCH! No wonder he likes to eat and sleep so much...he's a growing boy!

He is sleeping well and so far a mellow baby.

We don't go back to the Dr again till his 2 month check-up. We'll see what he weighs then. :)

Gage Parker Skerrett arrived 9.16.08 @ 4.14am. He weighed in at 8lbs 5ozs and 20 inches long.

3D Pics

Hello

All's going well. Had my first of 2 baby showers this last weekend and got lots of great baby items. Now working on getting it all put away! I have added some of our 3D pics we have of our little man. I am now 31 weeks and counting. Yesterday I had several people say to me "any day now huh". You feel like slapping them when I have 2 months left! Am I really that big? LOL.

Ok, ok, ok.....

So I've heard from several of you that I suck at this whole blogging thing. So I decided to write and give you an update.

I'm now 23 weeks, have a nice size belly but overall feeling good. My husband might argue that one with you but personally I feel great. :) I feel the baby kicking ALL the time. He's gonna come out one active kid. We are so excited and can't wait to meet him.

A lot of you are asking about names too....we haven't decided 100% on one name and when we do, well, it will be a secret. Sorry, I know this sucks. I was pissed when my sister and Chris did this to us as well but now I see their logic. So until September its Baby Skerrett! We know its a boy and his name and birthday will be the surprise.

Ultrasound Pics

My friend is a labor and delivery nurse and called yesterday while she was slow. We went in and got to play around and see the baby moving all over the place. It(no sex determined) was very jumpy. Literallly, bending its knee's and jumping. Let's hope that jumping stops before he/she is too big! :) Also, the baby has 5 fingers on each hand. :)

I have another appt next week and might get more pics then.
